Some years ago, I was gifted a huge Rubbermaid tote of old gaming consoles. In it, was an NES in moderately good-looking condition. It sat on my TV stand next to a Nintendo Switch for aesthetics.
Today, I bought a new A/V cable and power cable, popped in Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, and fired it up. Greyish-white screen, nothing happening. Tried another game, same thing.
